School Uniform

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It has been lovely to welcome our EYFS and Primary children back to school this week and see them settle into their new classes.

A polite reminder that the old DBIS uniform has now been discontinued and the two-year grace period for purchasing the new uniform expired at the end of the last academic year (June 2025). The only exception to this is the swimming kit, which can be worn until the end of this academic year (June 2026).

Please can all students come to school wearing the updated DBIS light-blue polo shirt with the DBIS shorts, skort or trousers. Our EYFS children can also wear the DBIS EYFS leggings.

Please also be reminded of the following regarding our school uniform:

  • Plain black shoes or trainers must be worn to school.
  • Trainers that are suitable for physical activity can be worn on PE days.
  • No jewellery is to be worn to school except a simple wrist watch and/or small stud earrings.
  • Make-up, temporary tattoos and nail varnish are not part of our school uniform.
  • Smart watches are not allowed to be worn to school.
  • Hair should be tied back. Elaborate hair accessories should be kept at home.

Thank you for your support in ensuring all our children take pride in our school by wearing the correct uniform every day.

Best wishes

Hannah Tait
