Student Grant Information for 2024-25 School Year

Arrangement of e-submission for student grant applications

Following the successful roll out of student grant e-submission applications to selected schools this academic year, the EdB will extend the scheme to all school types, including international schools, from 2024–25. Parents/guardians will be able to submit online applications for student grants via the Student Grant e-Submission Platform (e-platform). Applications will then be verified by DBIS.

The new system will replace the previous paper application forms. Parents/guardians submitting online applications will be able to check progress of their application, update or amend the information submitted and upload supplementary documents via the EdB’s e-platform.

To submit online applications for a student grant, parents/guardians must have an iAM Smart+ account with digital signing function. Accounts can be registered via self-registration kiosks or registration service counters. For more information, please go to www.iamsmart.gov.hk/en/reg.html.
