The ‘Gift of Giving’: A Charity Donation & House Competition

Dear Parents & Guardians,

The DBIS House Captains are running a charity-based programme called ‘Gift of Giving’ as their next house competition. This event will take place the last week of this term, from Monday 27th March to Friday 31st March.

We would like to ask all Secondary students to bring in some non-perishable food items (such as rice, pasta, tinned cans, vegetable oils etc.) as well as hygiene products (such as toothpaste, bars of soap, baby nappies, sanitary napkins etc.). Students can bring their goods every day of the week and drop them in the boys’ changing room near the Globe’s entrance before tutor time (between 8am and 8.25am).

All items collected will be donated to Feeding HK. This is also a house competition! The house that collects the most food/hygiene items by the end of the week will win house points and tickets for our end-of-term raffle! It’s so easy to partake and a great opportunity to share with the ones who don’t have.

As we have a no-nut policy, we kindly ask all students to refrain from bringing items containing nuts.

Thank you all for your support,

The DBIS House Captains
