Toys in School

Dear Parents

It has been lovely to see the children in EY1 & 2 settle into their learning during this first half of term 1 and explore new friendships and environments.

Now that the school year is well underway, we wanted to take this opportunity to kindly ask that the children do not bring toys from home into school (this includes football cards). Bringing toys into school can lead to them being lost or damaged which can cause much upset to the children. On occasions, the children may bring in a small toy from home for ‘Show and Tell’ time, when this is the case, a communication will be sent home in advance to inform parents so that you can support your child in choosing something appropriate to bring into school. Other than this, in order to avoid unnecessary upset at school, we do kindly ask that toys stay at home.

We thank you for your support in talking about this message to your child at home.

Kind regards
Hannah Cole

Deputy Head, Early Years.
