Dear Parents and Guardians,
I would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to Graham Lewis for all his work in supporting students in Year 7 during my maternity leave. It was lovely to return to so many warm greetings from students yesterday.
Next year I will continue in my role as Head of Year 7 with the new incoming cohort. Tracy Smal will take over as Head of Year 8 when school resumes in August. Mrs Smal has worked in DBIS for a number of years and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the post; she will be an excellent support to all students.
I have thoroughly working with your children this year. They are a wonderful group of young people and I look forward to continued interactions with them around school.
