Week Without Walls 2026–27 Programme Launch

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are proud to launch the 2026–27 Week Without Walls (WWW) programme – a flagship experiential learning opportunity that moves learning beyond the classroom and enables students to engage in meaningful, memorable and transformative experiences.

WWW is a carefully designed programme that offers students the opportunity to engage in adventurous, service-based, cultural, historical, environmental and skills-focused experiences, both locally and internationally. Each expedition is intentionally planned to foster independence, resilience, global awareness and collaboration while ensuring age-appropriate challenge and robust safeguarding practices.

The intention and programme design have been articulated in the parent letter linked at the end of this bulletin, which provides an overview of the philosophy, design and educational objectives underpinning the programme. It also includes:

– A comprehensive overview of the 2026–27 WWW programme
– Details of the exciting expeditions available for each year group
– Links to recorded parent presentations and additional information resources
– An outline of important timelines and next steps

This information has also been shared via SchoolsBuddy.

We encourage you to read the document and supporting resources carefully and to take time to discuss the expedition options with your child. These conversations form an important part of the decision-making process and help ensure that students select experiences aligned with their interests, readiness and aspirations.

Please also note the upcoming deadlines and required actions, particularly the need to provide consent for Year 7–9 expeditions and/or submit expedition preferences for Year 10–13 students via SchoolsBuddy by Monday 9th March.

Week Without Walls is more than a trip – it is an opportunity for students to step outside their comfort zones, build lasting friendships and create powerful learning moments that stay with them long after they return.

Should you have any questions after reviewing the information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

We look forward to partnering with you to make the 2026–27 WWW programme another outstanding chapter in our school’s experiential learning journey.

Best wishes,

Drew Skellern
Outdoor Education Coordinator
