Welcome to Term 3 in FS-2

Dear Parents and Guardians,

 Welcome back! We hope you and your children had a wonderful and restful break together after an action-packed Term 2.

We are now embarking on Term 3, which looks set to be equally as busy and fun filled as the last term. 

In Discovery this term, the children will explore ‘The Circle of Life’, where they will learn how living things grow and change. They will also learn how all life is interconnected and discover animal lifecycles. The children will also explore the unit of ‘Moving on: Journey and Adventures in Time’ and will learn about the past, present and future through this unit. They will explore how toys have changed over time and prepare for their transition into Year 1. 

Thank you to all of the families who have signed up to be mystery readers or share a cultural celebration with their class. Having a mystery reader is always a highlight for the children. Class teachers will post new sign-up sheets for Term 3. For families unable to sign up in person but who wish to do so, please contact your child’s class teacher.
