Year 1 and 2 Sports Morning – Thursday 5th February 2026

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our Year 1 and 2 students are currently honing their skills and looking forward to competing in their annual DBIS Year 1 and 2 Sports Morning.

The Sports Morning will be held on Thursday 5th February, and will include a number of athletics-related activities.

We would like to extend a warm invitation to all our Year 1 and 2 families to join us and support the students on the day.

A timetable for the event will be shared closer to the time, allowing you to follow your child/children throughout the morning. There is no need to sign up for this event; please just turn up on the day and sign in with your green parent ID card at the front gate.

The children love taking part in these events, and as we continue to encourage the development of their independent skills, we would like to remind parents and guardians of the importance of letting the children participate in their activities without the aid or advice of spectators.

We hope that you will be able to join us for what promises to be a fantastic Sports Morning. Please assist us by ensuring that all students arrive at school at the usual time, wearing their full PE kit, and bring their hat and water bottle. Events like these are only made possible through the efforts of the students involved, as well as the support of staff and families. Thank you in advance for your kind support.

Do feel free to contact [email protected] if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Emily Hull
