Dear FS-2 Families
While it may seem like Year 1 is in the very distant future for your child, at DBIS we believe that transition is a process rather than a single event. Part of the process of transition is to ensure that our families are well informed of the next steps in their child’s learning journey, especially when there are so many significant changes that lie ahead when your child enters Year 1.
With that in mind, we would like to invite you to a Year 1 Open Evening to help you learn more about your child’s next steps when they complete their time in the EYFS. The evening will include a presentation that will detail the learning and curriculum experience your child can expect in Year 1, a tour of the exceptional facilities at our Main Campus, and an opportunity to spend time in our Year 1 learning environments with our current Year 1 teaching team.

Time: 5pm – 6.30pm
Location: DBIS Main Campus
We hope the evening will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the exciting adventures that lie ahead for your child.

Please kindly note that this event is for parents only and we are not able to accommodate children. Your child will, however, have plenty of opportunities to look forward to as part of their transition process which has been carefully planned for.
