As we come to the end of a wonderful first term in Year 1, we wanted to share with you the key remaining dates for Term 1.
Creative Arts Morning – Wednesday 4th December 2024
Year 1 have their Creative Arts Morning on Wednesday 4th December 2024. Please send your child to school in their PE kit on this day.
Year 1 Christmas Sing-along – Tuesday 10th December 2024
We are currently preparing for our Christmas extravaganza… we invite you to watch our performance on Tuesday 10th December 2024 at 8am. Tea and coffee will be served outside the Globe at 7.45am. We would like each child to wear a festive accessory e.g. jumper, scarf, headband etc. As this is a PE day for Year 1, children will wear their PE kit alongside their accessory.
Carols on the Pitch – Wednesday 11th December 2024, stalls open from 4pm
The concert will begin at 6pm and will consist of performances from our Performing Arts ECA ensembles (specific group information has been communicated via SchoolsBuddy). In a change to the line-up from last year, please note that year-group singing will not take place on this evening. Families are still invited to participate as spectators.
Festive Beach Trip – Thursday 12th December 2024
We are looking for parent volunteers to attend and read a story to a small group of children during our beach trip following the theme of ‘celebrations’. Please see further information on the Hub post. A sign up sheet is also available on your child’s board.
Last Day of School – Friday 13th December 2024
Christmas Jumper Day and early finish at 12pm. Please bring a HK$20 donation to support our house charities.
