Dear Parents/Guardians,
Next week, we will be delving into our new Discovery unit ‘Count them while you can… endangered to be extinct’. To bring our learning to life, Year 1 will be visiting the Hong Kong Space Museum on Friday 28th November 2025. The children will watch the show ‘Dinosaurs: A Story of Survival’ and embark on an exciting journey through the Earth’s distant past to meet different dinosaurs.
Date: Friday 28th November 2025
Trip Time: 8.45am (leave DBIS) – 11.15am (pick up to return to DBIS). School pick-up and drop-off times will remain as normal. The show runs for approximately 30 minutes. We will return to school in time for lunch.
What to Wear: School uniform
What to Bring: A water bottle and a snack in a small bag that can be easily carried to the museum.
Cost: HK$100
Lunch: All children will be required to bring a packed lunch to school that day. We will eat our lunch when we return to school. There will be no canteen on this day, as we will be expected to return after our scheduled canteen slot.
The deadline for payment for the trip is Friday 31st October 2025.

Any cash can be handed in to the main office. Thereafter, please kindly email [email protected] with your bank confirmation and student name for our records. Please use your child’s name in the subject header. Once the money has been accounted for you will receive a confirmation email from accounts.
We will be needing a small number of parent volunteers to support our trip. A sign-up sheet will be available soon on your child’s class board.
