Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am pleased to share with you the 2024–26 DBIS A Level and BTEC Level 3 Options A booklet. Here you will find the information for all of the courses that may be offered in Year 12 beginning August 2024. In addition to the information contained in this booklet, you will find supplementary video guidance for each subject on the school Hub.
Once you have familiarised yourself with the information provided, please complete the Jotform found at the end of this letter no later than Friday 6th October.
Please be advised that these are NOT the final options choices; however, the choices will be used to inform the creation of the subject blocks offered in the final choice Jotform. Please note that whilst we will endeavour to ensure that we cater successfully to the desires of the entire cohort during this phase of the options process, there may be instances where this is not possible; thank you for your understanding in this regard.
I would also like to take this opportunity to direct your attention to our A Level and BTEC Level 3 2024-26 Entry Requirements. This link can also be found within the Student Support section of the options booklet. The first set of reports will be released next week (Tuesday 3rd October), and your child’s achievement should inform your considerations; please therefore ensure that you consult the report to determine progress in relation to these subject stipulations.
