Year 11 CNY Dumpling Activity

Dear Year 11 Parents,

As we approach the Year of the Horse, we have an exciting cultural event planned for our Year 11 students!

The details of the trip are as follows:
Date: Lesson 2 (during language lessons), Tuesday 12th February
Departure: 10am (after lesson 1)
Return: 11am ( back in lesson 3)
Location: Auberge Hotel
Activity: Students will make/fold their own dumplings and enjoy them as part of their snack.
What to bring: The student’s normal snack, plus a small container if you want to bring the dumplings back to the main campus.

Allergies:
We have worked closely with the venue to ensure that the dumpling fillings are strictly nut free and that no peanut oil is used in the preparation. However, Asian culinary environments often use ingredients (such as soy sauces, oils or spices) that may be processed in facilities that handle nuts or may contain traces of allergens. If your child has a general or severe allergy to Asian condiments or is highly sensitive to potential cross-contamination, please email us ([email protected], [email protected]) directly. We will be happy to arrange alternative activities for them.

All members of the language department will be accompanying the students, and we are very much looking forward to a fun dumpling session with our Year 11 students.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Warm regards,

Ms Myra Mi
