Year 11 final term and Celebration Ceremony

Dear parents, guardians and students of Year 11,

I hope that the Easter break has allowed for some rest and recuperation before we enter what is now the ‘final straight’ for Year 11. As the final school day before study leave is Friday 29th April, we have just a little time left together before students embark on their final, independent preparations for exams. Whilst students will not be in school at this time, I would like to remind them that they are welcome to contact their teachers at any time if they require any help in their subjects.

You may have some questions regarding procedures (in relation to COVID-19) for the coming exam period, and I encourage you to look out for communication from Mr Roberts which should address this. After that, please do get in touch if you are still unsure.

In our calendar, the final day for Year 11 is Friday 24th June. Details of this day will be shared closer to the time, but provisionally I would like to invite parents to join us in the afternoon for a ‘Year 11 Celebration Ceremony’. This ceremony will close off the academic year for our Year 11 students.

Wishing you a successful final term, and I look forward to seeing you in June.

Nicholas Moore,
Head of Year 11
