Year 11 Initial Intentions Jotform

Dear Parents and Guardians for Year 11,

Firstly, thank you to those who were able to join us for the A Level information evening, this evening. A video and pdf of the presentation will be shared tomorrow for parents who could not attend.

A key event for Year 11 is the A Level options process. This starts in the coming weeks to give parents and students ample time to understand the process before the submission of their final choices in November.

We ask that you provide the choices for Year 12 early in this academic year in order to give the school adequate time to prepare the best possible provisions and staffing for all courses offered to students.

To begin this process, we would ask that you complete an ‘Initial Intentions’ Jotform that can be found by clicking HERE.

The purpose of this form is to provide us with insight into the academic aspirations of the year group, specifically: anticipated subject choices, Higher Education and career interests, and potential university destinations. We are then better positioned to tailor our provision and career guidance to the needs of the cohort.

If your child has any interest in seeing a course offered, please be sure to include this in your response. Whilst we cannot guarantee catering to all subject desires, we are keen to establish how we can best support your child’s aspirations.

We would politely request that the form be completed by Friday 16th September; this will supplement our Secondary SLT Year 11 Guidance interviews that we will conduct this week.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at this stage of the process.

Kind regards,

Nicholas Moore
(Head of Year 11)
