Dear Parents of Year 11 students,
Further to my previous notification, we are pleased to confirm that Mock Examinations will take place between Monday, March 8th and Friday, March 19th 2021. You can access the Mock Examination timetable HERE.
These examinations represent a key milestone in the students’ learning journey and act as an opportunity to demonstrate essential knowledge, skills and competencies under formal conditions. Thorough preparations for these examinations cannot be underestimated, especially given the uncertain nature of grade determining processes at present. Therefore, your support in reiterating this would be greatly appreciated.
We are committed to ensuring that we have ample attainment evidence for your child that accurately reflects their capabilities. We are confident that our rigorous approach to student achievement will afford us this, however, this year’s Mock Examinations remain an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their learning.
Supplementary details pertaining to the examinations will be shared with the students on our return from the Chinese New Year break. These will include, individual timetables and conduct during the examinations materials.
Please note that the students will be on study leave during these dates – normal lessons will be suspended. They will return to school on Monday 22nd March.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.
Wishing you an enjoyable and restful Chinese New Year Break with your families.
Kind regards,
Tom Lemon (Head of Year 11)Â [email protected]
