Dear Parents of Year 11 Students,
As you know, the IGCSE examinations are a crucial step for our Year 11 students. To ensure they are fully prepared and confident, we will be providing focused revision sessions every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning from 8am, starting on 7th January.
All students will benefit from these sessions, and each morning will be dedicated to a core subject: English, Mathematics or Science. These sessions will help students reinforce key concepts, practice exam techniques, and address any individual areas where they need extra support.
During the sessions, students will work at their own pace through differentiated materials designed by our Heads of Department, with a subject specialist available to provide guidance and answer questions.
Students should report to their tutor room for an 8am start on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, bringing with them the normal equipment they would need for that day’s subject. Students can still attend morning ECAs on these days; they just need to leave 10 minutes early.
We encourage you to discuss these sessions with your child and emphasise the importance of active participation.
We will remind students about the arrangements on their first day back in January.
