Year 11 Revision Sessions and Exam Information

Dear Students and Parents,

We are writing to provide you with important details about the revision sessions we have organised to support our Year 11 students during their study leave period. Their last day in lessons will be Wednesday 30th April. We encourage students to take full advantage of these valuable opportunities as they prepare for their upcoming examinations.

You can find a comprehensive overview of the revision session schedule, including specific subjects, dates, times, and locations, by following this link. This document also includes a reminder of the exam dates, times and venues for your reference.

Please note that the revision sessions will be conducted in two formats:

  • Taught Sessions: In these sessions, our experienced teachers will lead focused instruction on key areas within the subject curriculum that they have identified as crucial for review. Punctual attendance at these taught sessions is essential to ensure students benefit fully from the targeted guidance provided.
  • Drop-in Sessions: These sessions offer a more flexible environment where students can come with specific questions they have encountered during their independent study or work through past-paper questions with a teacher available to offer support and guidance. This is an excellent opportunity for students to address individual learning needs.

Furthermore, we encourage students to proactively reach out to their subject teachers via email if they require additional support or wish to explore the possibility of arranging alternative times for subject-specific assistance. Our teachers are committed to helping students succeed and will do their best to accommodate reasonable requests.

We wish all our students the very best in their preparations.

Best wishes,

David Coburn
