Dear Year 2 Families,
During the Chinese New Year break, we would like the children to undertake a small home-learning task to assist them with our new Discovery topic ‘Fantastic Firsts’. This topic will focus on innovation and invention and will look at historical “firsts” both in their lifetime and globally.
To support the children with their learning in school, we will send home a timeline for each child to fill in with their own significant firsts. This could include their first day at school, when they first walked, their first holiday etc. Any significant firsts in your child’s lifetime can be included.
Please return the timelines to school by Tuesday 20th February 2024.
