Year 2 Space Museum Trip

Dear Year 2 Families, 

On Wednesday 17th April Year 2 will be visiting the Hong Kong Space Museum as part of their Discovery Unit ‘What Lies Beyond’. 

Students are to arrive at school at the normal time of 8.25am, and buses will depart at 8.45am. Students will have time to explore the Space Museum and then will see the show Tilt in the planetarium auditorium. We will return in time for the usual school pick-up.

The cost of the trip will be HK$70 per child, which includes the show ticket and transportation for your child. 

Payments must be made by Tuesday 16th April for your child to attend. Please submit payments of cash or cheque (payable to Discovery Bay International School) to the main office. If you wish to pay via Bank Transfer, please use the following details:

On the day, children will need to wear full school uniform and bring a snack, packed lunch and water bottle. Please can these items be in a bag they can easily carry independently. 

We will require some parent helpers to support us with this exciting trip. A parent sign-up sheet is available on your class communication board. If an ample amount of parents volunteer then names will be chosen from a hat.
