Year 3 Camp Update

Dear Parents,

Now that the Year 3 camp is only two weeks away we think it is timely to send out a few important reminders. We would also like to take the opportunity to thank you very much for your support so far in preparing your child for camp.

The cost of camp is $200. Thank you very much for the payments we have already received. We kindly ask that any outstanding payments be made as soon as possible.

A jotform has been sent out for you to update any medical and dietary requirements. If any medication is required please make sure it has been referenced on the jotform and inform your child's teacher. It should be brought to camp in a labelled ziplock bag where your child's group leader will take responsibility for it. More serious forms of medication will be administered through the nurse. If your child has dietary requirements that will prevent them from having the pizza and cereals provided for dinner and breakfast, please include their meals in their bags.

We would also like to update you on the sleeping arrangements following our latest communication with the facility. We will now occupy the whole of the first and second floor and will have a security guard (one male, and one female) actively patrolling each floor with staff bedrooms situated on each.

The Year 3 students are to wear their own clothes. The parent evening slides which include the packing list have been attached for your reference. We kindly ask that the students arrive at school at the later time of 8:45am to avoid congestion and ensure a calm start to the morning. When they arrive, they should drop their overnight bag in the undercover Year 1 and 2 area in a designated area which will be clearly labelled for your child's class and should then head to their classroom with their day bags. We kindly ask that parents and carers say goodbye to children before they head up to their classrooms to avoid congestion when we are organising the children onto the buses. The class teachers will register the children in their classrooms before heading to the undercover area where they will be put into their groups to board the buses group by group and with their group leader.
