Year 3 Celebration of Learning

Dear Year 3 Families,

We are delighted to extend an invitation to you for our upcoming Celebration of Learning on Friday 6th December, from 8am – 8.30am. We welcome you to meet with other parents for coffee and refreshments outside the Globe from 7.45am – 8am, before heading to the classrooms.

In our current Discovery unit, we have been exploring the life and times of people who have changed the world. During the Celebration of Learning, you will be able to see some diary writing and artistic portraits, as well as meet various historical figures and enjoy some activities led by your children. After your departure, the children will then be enjoying a ‘significant people tea-party’ and sharing their learning with friends across the year group.

Dress up
To help the children get in role effectively, and bring the event to life, we would be grateful if your child could arrange a small outfit or prop they could bring in to represent their chosen significant person. This should not be extravagant; a little can go a long way in the creative minds of children! For example, a striped t-shirt and a paintbrush = Picasso!

We are looking forward to seeing you at this special event and celebrating the hard work and achievements of our Year 3 students.

Warm regards,
The Year 3 Team
