Dear Year 3 Families,
I am writing to invite you to a parent open morning and camp information session on Thursday 14th March. The event details are as follows:
8.30am – 9am: Visit Classrooms
The children are excited to welcome you into their classrooms to share their highlights and pieces of learning they are most proud of with you.
9am – 9.30am: Camp Information Session – Globe Theatre
This meeting will outline the next exciting Year 3 experiential learning activities. As part of this programme, the children will enjoy a day trip to Mui Wo and an overnight sleepover at school on Thursday 25th April.
During the camp, we will continue our partnership with A-Team Edventures, who will support us in delivering some interesting activities in Mui Wo. The children will apply learning from their Discovery units to conduct soil sampling, a mini-rock scramble, a micro-climate and ecology exploration of a local stream, shelter building and team building games.
Back at school we will enjoy dinner together, play games and read stories before settling down to camp in the library at school.
We very much look forward to seeing you on Thursday 14th March to discuss these great learning opportunities and answer any questions you may have. As ever, the presentation will be made available on the Hub to those who are not able to attend in person.
