Dear Parents,
Year 4 ‘Circulatory System’ Trip
Year 4 will be visiting the Tai Pak Wan beach as part of their ‘Body & Mind’ unit of Discovery. They will experience what it is like to be a blood cell in the human body, pumping from the heart to the rest of the body. They will show themselves to be collaborative learners as they are tasked with modelling the process of oxygenating and deoxygenating their own crafted blood cell.
The date for the excursion is:Â
- Y4SS & Y4JB – Wednesday 28th September – 8.30amÂ
- Y4RT & Y4LB – Thursday 29th September – 8.30am Â
For this trip to go ahead, we ask for a couple of parents per class to accompany us. Please contact your child’s class teacher if you are able to join us on the Wednesday morning for Y4SS/Y4JB or the Thursday morning for Y4RT/Y4LB.

We ask that the children come to school in their PE kit on this day. They will eat their snacks when they return to school. There is no change to the timings of the school day, and we ask that you still drop off and pick up at school.
Please also ensure the children have their hats, water bottles and sunscreen. We have child-friendly mosquito spray at school, but if you would prefer to use your own, then please pack this too.
