Dear Parents,
As the end of the academic year is approaching, I wanted to share are a few key events taking place during the final weeks of term:
Tuesday 4th June – Year 4 & Nursery Buddy Time – We will be hosting the children from Nursery at the Primary campus and partaking in games designed and led by the Year 4 students.
Friday 7th June – Public Holiday: Dragonboat Festival
Monday 17th June – Celebration of Learning: An Afternoon at the Museum – Our final celebration of learning of the year will see the Year 4 classrooms transformed into ancient museums in order to showcase what has been learned during this term. The museum doors will open from 14:00 and will be followed by our Onwards & Upwards Ceremony.
Monday 17th June – Onwards & Upwards Ceremony – Children return to their home classrooms to receive their graduation certificates and congratulations on reaching the end of Year 4. We aim to begin the ceremonies at approximately 14:40.
Thursday 20th June (evening) – Creative Arts Exhibition – As part of the school’s Creative Arts Week, we will be holding our annual art exhibition, displaying artwork from all over the school for you to enjoy between 17:00 and 19:00.
Friday 21st June – Transition Morning – The children in the primary school will have the opportunity to meet their next year’s class teacher and to spend some time as part of their new class during the morning.
Monday 24th June – Primary Awards Ceremony – Children across the Primary School will receive awards recognising their contributions at school (parents will be invited to attend if their child is to receive an award).
Wednesday 26th June – Year 4 Shared Lunch – We will be enjoying a shared lunch at 12:10 so please could all contributions (hot or cold) be in school by 11:30. Please remember we are a 'no nuts' school and if you bring a container that needs to be returned, it should be clearly labelled with your child's name and a plastic plate and cutlery would be much appreciated.
Friday 28th June – Final day of term. School finishes at 13:30 and children will be dismissed from their classrooms at this time.
