Dear Year 4 Parents and Guardians,
The Performing Arts department cordially invites you to join our Year 4 pupils for their Creative Arts Morning (CAM) on Wednesday 11th March, from 8.30am – 10.30am. For this particular CAM, we will hold a short parent workshop to introduce the ‘Instruments for All’ programme that applies to all children from Year 5 up to the end of Year 8. Then, in preparation for the start of Year 5, we will introduce the available instruments and have our experienced peripatetic music teachers demonstrate how to play them. By attending this workshop, you will place yourself in a good position to best support your child’s choice of instrument. The programme runs from Year 5 to Year 8 on a single instrument, so it is imperative that we make the right choice of instrument from the outset. Â
