Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for your continued support during Term 2. It has certainly been an action-packed term, and we are very proud of all that the children have achieved.
On this note, we would like to invite you to join us in celebrating your children’s learning on Wednesday 17th April in the Year 5 classrooms from 8.30am to 9am. We will be sharing our learning from across the year, with a particular focus on our work from Term 2.
In Term 2, we explored our place in the universe through our Discovery unit ‘Interstellar’. In English, we explored poetry and biographies of key figures in the history of space exploration; and in Maths, we deepened our understanding of multiplication and division, fractions, and perimeter and area. We also explored data analysis through our statistics. The children can’t wait to share their learning with you.
Tea and coffee will be available outside the Globe Theatre from 8.20am.
