Dear Parents,
As part of our next Discovery unit ‘Interstellar’, we will be taking the Year 5 children on a trip to the Hong Kong Space Museum, on Wednesday 6th November.
The children need to arrive at school by the normal time of 8:25am on the day of their trip. We will leave DBIS at 8.45am and return at 3.00pm.
Please ensure that your child:
- Brings a snack, packed lunch and a full water bottle in a back pack
- Wears correct school uniform and comfortable uniform shoes
The Space Museum is charging a small fee for use of their planetarium, so we kindly ask that you contribute $70 towards the cost of the planetarium experience and coaches to and from the museum. This $70 can be brought to Lori in the school office.
Thank you to our parents who have already volunteered, we now have enough adults to accompany our children.
We are sure that the children will both enjoy and learn from this exciting learning opportunity.
