Dear Year 7 Parents and Guardians,
We are delighted to invite you to our Year 7 History Showcase, where students will present their recent work on Medieval Castles.
This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to share their hard work, creativity and historical knowledge of the Middle Ages. During the showcase, your child will present their castle models, castle guides and individual research about medieval knights. They will explain the specific architectural features of their castles, including aspects of attack and defence incorporated into their designs. From crenellations and portcullises to gatehouses with murder holes, the students are eager to demonstrate their understanding of how these grand fortifications evolved and operated.
This event will take place in your child’s tutor classroom on Wednesday 25th March at 8.20am
