Year 9 Week Without Walls Transport Timings and Payments

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As Week Without Walls is now fast approaching, I am writing to inform you of transport arrangements and timings of the Year 9 trip.

Date: Wednesday 31st May

Meeting Time: 8.15am*

Transportation Method: Ferry (chartered by DBIS)

Pick-up Location Nim Shue Wan Ferry Pier (Discovery Bay)

What to Wear: PE kit and light backpack (see packing list below for items to pack in day bag)

* Please note that the ferry will not be able to wait for latecomers.

When: Friday 2nd June

Arrival Time: 1.30pm approx

Transportation Method: Ferry (chartered by DBIS)

Drop-off Location: Nim Shue Wan Ferry Pier (Discovery Bay)

Students will be dismissed upon arrival in Discovery Bay and expected to may make their way home at this point. If you anticipate any issues. please directly email Tracey Smal, Head of Year 9, at [email protected] no later than Thursday 25th May.

Room groupings and further information will be shared with students during tutor times in the run-up to the trip.

Payment

Please make the necessary payment ASAP if you have not already completed this. Payments online can only be accepted by bank transfer into our HSBC account 111-459624-001. Kindly send us the transfer receipt and state your child’s name and year group for reconciliation purposes. Other accepted methods of payment are cheque and cash to the school reception. A receipt will be issued to validate payment.
