Dear Parents,
Please join us in supporting our UN Global Goals ECA children, who this year are hosting a DBIS Halloween Swap Shop. As you may know, the 11th UN Global Goal is ‘Sustainable Cities and Communities’ and therefore in a bid to avoid unrequired consumption this holiday season, the children in this ECA would like you to bring in pre-loved, old or unwanted Halloween costumes that can be up-cycled by a new child and family on 31st October.
Between now and Tuesday 29th October, please bring your donation to Primary room 1-35 Y6RA and ensure that the costume is labelled with the size/age of the child that it would fit.
The costumes will then be sorted on 29th by the Global Goals Team, who will be hosting the ‘Swap Shop’ on Wednesday 30th, after school in the under cover area, on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be no charge for this up-cycling event; the intention is to reduce, reuse, recycle!
If you have any further questions, please contact Rachel Ashcroft at [email protected].
Many thanks for your support, and we look forward to seeing you on 30th October.
Kind regards,
Rachel Ashcroft
