Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
I am delighted to share with you the 2024-26 IGCSE/BTEC Level 2 Initial Options booklet for your information.
As mentioned in the booklet, initial options choices can be made from today (Friday 6th October 2023). Once you have familiarised yourself with the information provided, please complete the Jotform found at the end of this communication by no later than Friday 13th October.Â
Please ensure that you take the time to review the information presented, paying particular attention to the ‘How to Choose’ section of the booklet. Continued consultation with subject teachers and tutors is strongly encouraged, and consideration towards the information and discussions you have already experienced through your Learning for Life lessons and associated activities should reinforce your decisions.
Options blocks will be built based on these choices and any considerable changes may not be possible once the blocks have been created – hence, it is vital that you review the information carefully. We would ask that subjects are selected in order of preference, and that a reserved subject is identified.
Please note: Whilst we will endeavour to offer each of the subjects identified, in certain circumstances, such as particularly low numbers, this may not be possible. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that any given subject or combination of subjects will be available. In this instance, staff will contact students and parents to discuss possible alternatives.
