Dear Year 5 Parents,
In honour of Helper Appreciation Month, the Year 5 Team would like to invite your child's Auntie to DBIS on Tuesday 28th May, at 10.25am for a tea party.
The children will be creating physical invitations to give to their Auntie, however please can you discuss this with your child and ensure that your helper knows when it is and is available to attend?
We would like for each child to bring in a small food item to serve their Auntie with: this can be a cake, sandwiches or something that they know their Auntie enjoys eating during break time. We will provide hot drinks and water for the Aunties during this time. Please can you encourage your child to organise this themselves and not ask for their Auntie's help, as this would defeat the object of the tea party.

I hope you agree that our helper community do an awful lot for us and it will be so wonderful to give back and show them how loved and appreciated they are.
