Dear Parents & Guardians
Please note that students and families are very welcome to borrow library books for the term break.
If your child misses their regular library lesson this week due to Sports Day or camp, they are able to visit the library before or after school or during snack and lunch time to borrow and/or renew. They will need to bring along any books that need to be returned or renewed as well as their library folder.
Some families may be unaware that all DBIS families have a library account and parents and guardians are able to visit the library on weekdays from 8:00-8:25 and then again 3:15-4:00 and borrow up to 6 books on the family account. The usual loan period is 1 week but this extends over holiday periods so that books are due back the first week back at school. Please note, though, that we do not allow any student to borrow under their family's account, only parents and guardians.
