Box of Hope 2021: 1st to 5th November

Dear Parents

We are delighted to once again be supporting the Box of Hope. The Box of Hope is an annual charity project aimed at providing useful and educational gifts to underprivileged children in Hong Kong and Asia, donated by Hong Kong school children and local organisations.

Our Student Council members have already been busy putting up posters around the school and have delivered a short presentation in today’s assembly for the children in the Early Years and Primary School. Attached to this letter are flyers explaining how you and your family can get involved and ideas for packing your box. There is also information on the Box of Hope competition in which children have the chance to help deliver some of the boxes by sending in photos of their shoebox. Further information can be found on The Box of Hope website www.boxofhope.org.

Our Student Councillors will set up a collection point in the Early Years 1 & 2 covered area before school between Monday 1st and Friday 5th November, when they will be delighted to receive your donations.

Your child will shortly receive a sticker that will need to be attached to their completed box to provide information of the contents and ensure an appropriate recipient is found.

Please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Early Years, Primary or Secondary Leadership Team should you have any questions.

Kind regards

Lyndsey Coote, Anna Christiansen and Pete Roberts
