Box of Hope 2022–23

Dear DBIS Families,

We are delighted to once again be supporting the Box of Hope. The Box of Hope is an annual charity project aimed at providing useful and educational gifts to underprivileged children in Hong Kong and Asia, donated by Hong Kong school children and local organisations.

Attached to this letter are flyers explaining how you and your family can get involved and ideas for packing your box. Further information can be found on The Box of Hope website www.boxofhope.org

Please find below guidance videos in English, Cantonese and Mandarin:

Cantonese           https://youtu.be/FZIax3WVKvE

Mandarin            https://youtu.be/pfTxHNviQcQ

Our Student Councillors will set up a collection point in the Primary covered area before school between Monday 31st October and Friday 4th November, when they will be delighted to receive your donations. We have a number of stickers for the boxes that we will share with the children. If these don’t make it home, there will be some spares ready for you to collect at the Main Reception.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions, and we thank you in advance for your support. Last year, we collect 512 boxes, which is incredible, and we would love to help bring a smile to even more children’s lives this Christmas time.

Thank you and best wishes,

DBIS
