Dear Parents/Guardians,
It is with regret that I write to inform you that the Secondary School Sports Day, due to be held on Wednesday 18th March has been cancelled.
This decision has not been made lightly and with the current situation in Hong Kong, we feel it is vital to avoid further disruption and ensure students have the maximum contact time available with their respective teachers.
I am sure this will disappoint many students but we do intend to run Athletics competitions during lessons and lunchtimes before the end of the year. It is only right that those students who enjoy and flourish in Athletics disciplines are given the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and skills.
It continues to be a difficult year for Sport at DBIS and we very much appreciate your ongoing support with this important aspect of life at our school.
