Creative Arts Week

Dear Parents

Our annual Creative Arts Week takes place 17 – 21 June and the children are taking part in a series of activities and presenting their work. We invite you to attend some of the events and hope you can come along and celebrate our talented young people.

On Tuesday 18 June Battle of the Bands will take place in The Globe starting at 15.30. Our external Judge will select the winners from a variety of acts. Entry is free and we expect the event to be finished around 16.30.

Students will be performing at Busker’s Corner (near Mr Tough’s office) at Primary (10.05 – 10.25) and Secondary (10.40 – 11.00) snack time and Primary lunchtime (12.10 – 13.10) an Secondary lunchtime (13.20 – 14.10)  on Monday 17 June and Wednesday 19 June. Come along and support them. Performance times will be posted on The Hub.

Our Art Exhibition takes place on Thursday 20 June. A huge amount of work goes into this event and the exhibits cover the full range of the school. This year’s Exhibition will also include the impressive final GCSE and A level Art examination submissions. Art is on display throughout the school. Refreshments are provided by the PTSA and live music will be performed through the evening by Choirs, Orchestra, Wind Band, the winning band from Battle of the Bands, Samba Club and Chinese Drummers.
