DBIS Bake Off! – DBIS Hub

Dear Year 3 and Year 4 Parents,

We are excited to announce a new House event this year. DBIS Bake Off! The first of the DBIS Bake Off events will take place in December and the competition will be for children in Years 3 and 4.

The theme for the bake off is ‘Festive’ and there will be 3 categories: cakes, biscuits and other.

Although these bakes are not festive themed, here is some inspiration for the children.

The entries will be judged based on creativity, aesthetics and taste. Only a small portion of the bakes will be tested and the remaining bakes will then be sold at lunchtime, with all proceeds going to House Charities.

The Year 3 bake off competition will take place on Tuesday 3rd December.

The Year 4 bake off competition will take place on Thursday 5th December.

Baked goods must be labelled with the child’s name and class and should be brought to the staff room, before school on the morning of the competition. Please remember that we are a nut free school.

Children are welcome to bring in baked goods for the sale only too, again these should be brought to the staff room on the morning of the events.
