Dear Parents/Carers,
We have had a wonderful response to our request for interesting and varied items and materials that can be reused and included in our play. We have had colourful tops off juice containers to the interesting patterns on a button donated.
We are asking for our families to continue to collect the items listed below and add them to the appropriate containers in our recycling area, near the lift. Please ensure the items are clean and are safe for the children to use.
We are planning to include the use of some of these items in our woodworking sessions, that will be starting soon with all the children.
The children are also being taught how to reuse materials in the classroom and we are also encouraging them to identify materials from their lunch boxes that can be recycled and reused. Working together to reuse materials we can reduce the amount of rubbish that is going into landfill.
