Food Fair Update February 2019

FOOD FAIR UPDATE 20TH FEBRUARY 2019

Thank you all for the amazing response so far. We have just a few weeks to go now so it is time for an update on our progress and a new call-out for support. If you want to volunteer, donate or help in any way with Australia, Belgium, Holland, Hong Kong, India, South Africa, UK or USA please contact the relevant coordinator. The British stall has asked me to remind you that there is an envelope at Main Reception to collect cash donations, and also to thank those that have contributed to date.

Food isn’t the only focus though – we try to provide as much fun as possible for our younger customers with activity stalls. It isn’t possible to run these stalls without volunteers so if you haven’t put your name down for anything yet, here are the links:

We are asking that you commit just 30 minutes of your day so that everyone can have time to enjoy all that is on offer. Family friends, Domestic Workers, your grown-up children – all are invited to share their talent and enthusiasm by helping out at an activity stall and can contact Kylie or Tammy directly. The entertainment schedule is shaping up nicely and should be released next week, but in the meantime just put your name down – we will reschedule you if we need to.

We do still have some space in the Globe for commercial vendors. The initial deadline has passed but Monika is happy to process applications for one more week from today.

Now, if everyone could just keep fingers and toes crossed for excellent weather, that would be marvellous!

Warmest regards,

Liz Hemmings
