Dear Families,Â
Thank you for all of your support this week as your children began their learning journey with us in FS-1.Â
Here are a few reminders to support with the final part of our staggered start and as we prepare for full days:
- The children will be having lunch at school from Monday onwards. You can bring their packed lunch to school and place it in the boxes outside the classrooms at drop-off time (these will be moved into the airconditioned dining hall shortly afterwards). Alternatively, if you are bringing in a hot lunch, we ask that it is delivered before 10.45am for next week.Â
- Please ensure there are no nuts (of any kind) in your child’s lunch. If you send in homemade pesto or ‘wow butter’, please send a note in their lunch box every time to confirm that these items do not contain nuts.Â
- There is no need to provide a snack for the children as this is provided by the school. Please just send in their lunches.Â
- On Monday and Tuesday, all of the children will be in school from 8.55am until 12.15pm.Â
- On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, all of the children will be in school from 8.55am until 1.15pm.
- On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the children will have rest time at school. If you would like your child to have a small cuddly toy and/or a small blanket, please place these in the boxes outside your child’s class. These blankets and soft toys will be sent home each Friday to wash. Please ensure soft toys and blankets are labelled.
- If you have wellington/gum boots prepared for Forest School, please hand them to class teachers and these will be stored. Once the children are more settled in the upcoming weeks, we will be ready to explore Forest School if all the boots are already in school.Â
- Every child must come into school with a spare set of school clothes in their bag every day. This includes underwear and socks.Â
- Please send in an A3 zipped folder for the children’s library books.Â
Enjoy your weekend together and we look forward to seeing all of our wonderful children again next week.
Best wishes,
The FS-1 Team
