Dear Parents,
Sustainability Week is on the horizon and during the week (Thursday 3rd October) DBIS are very lucky to have secured a visit from Lantau based author Suzanne Younan who will share her book called The Green Dragon. This is a wonderful link to many year group’s current or future – plus a perfect accompaniment to Sustainability Week.
Brief synopsis:
It is a story about a boy touched by the environmental plight of four native HK animals and, despite challenges ahead, the boy reaches out to his community and takes action.
The children will receive a The Green Dragon book order form very soon, giving them the opportunity to purchase the book and get it signed on the day of Mrs. Younan’s visit.
