FOR SCHOOL PROJECTS

To DBIS Students and Staff

One of the objectives of PTSA is to support the School’s initiative for innovative and collaborative projects across the learning platform. The PTSA is inviting staff and the student council to bid for funds to support activities that enhance curricular and extracurricular opportunities for students. PTSA is happy to announce  a total of $40,000 being allocated for the year 2021-22.
We invite bids from Early Years, Primary and Secondary year groups. The allocation of the funds is based on the decision of the PTSA Committee and Head of the School.

BIDS APPLICATION CRITERIA

The following criteria will be used when considering funding requests. Please make sure that:

  1. Bids for funding are made by Staff and/or the Student Council.
  2. The project is aligned with the School’s Core Values, Mission and Aims.
  3. The initiative falls within the scope of the School Development, Improvement and Operations Plan.
  4. The plan is feasible and should ideally benefit at least a whole year group (although smaller projects will be also be considered)
  5. The project is not already covered by the school’s existing budget
  6. The program will enhance student life and learning

The PTSA requests candidates of the approved project to send a summary & evaluation report (with data, pictures) upon completion of the project. This is required as PTSA compiles all the projects annually to present at the AGM. It is essential to save copies of receipts of your expenditures during implementation of your project for submission for reimbursement.
