Dear Parents and Guardians,Â
To help our Reception children with their transition into Year 1, we will be holding a Reception and Year 1 Buddy Morning on Monday 5th June. This will be an opportunity for the children to become familiar with the Year 1 environment and play alongside our current Year 1 children.Â
On the day, we kindly ask you to drop your child off at the Main Campus at 8.45am. Reception class teachers and educational assistants will meet the children in the undercover area next to Year 1. They will then take the children into Year 1 classes and stay with them for the duration of the visit. The children will return to the EY campus via coach. Â
If your child is not continuing at DBIS in Year 1, we still ask that you drop them off at the Main Campus, as regular classes will not take place and they can join the buddy play session.Â

What to Wear:Â Â Â School Uniform
What to Bring:Â Â School bag, water bottle & packed lunch
Drop Off:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 8.45am DBIS Main Campus (Year 1 Undercover Area)
Pick Up:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Normal school pick up at 2.40pm at the EY Campus.
