I would like to take this opportunity to share the prescribed texts for each of the Senior School courses. The list of these books can be found on the link below.
Senior School Book list – 2019-20
These books should be purchased by students for each of their AS/A Level and BTEC courses . Books marked as AS/A Level will be used by all students studying the course, while A Level texts will be used in Year 13. Students entering Year 12 do not need to purchase the A Level texts until the summer of 2020.
There is a range of websites and bookshops where these texts are available for purchase. Book Depository (www.bookdepository.com) has all of these titles available and often has free shipping to Hong Kong.
Purchasing books second hand is also an excellent way of sourcing books at a much lower cost. However, please make careful note of the edition that you are purchasing as it may have changed depending on the course specification.
The textbooks are viewed as a tool to assist learning and as a result, we encourage students to make annotations on the text. These notes often serve as an excellent reminder of key ideas during periods of revision.
