Year 10 Term 3 Bulletin

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome back! We are thrilled to be able to welcome students back onto the school campus to embark on the final term of the academic year. We hope you all had a restful Easter break and are ready for classrooms full of excitement and collaborative learning, which is the perfect start to our final term.

1:1 Tutoring

1:1 tutoring will continue again this term, and your child’s tutor will inform them when to attend. This allows the tutor to discuss difficulties, provide support or get to know their tutees better.

Review of Target-setting

The start of the term is also an excellent opportunity to review the student-led SMART targets. Building on what they achieved last term is essential, and by setting their targets, students tend to be more motivated to strive towards them.

 Uniform/Hair Reminder

I want to remind all students of the expectations of uniforms. Particular reminders are that students have plain black school shoes and keep their hair as one natural colour.

The Secondary Parent & Student Handbook can be found here.

Home Learning

We will continue with our regular system and schedule posted on Google Classroom regarding home learning.

RSE Lessons

Students will have RSE lessons during L4L during Term 3. The link to the curriculum is on the Parent Hub in the wellbeing section, if parents wish to know more about the lessons’ content.

It can also be accessed here.
