Dear Year 10 Parents,
I am writing to inform you of the tutor arrangements commencing after Chinese New Year. To provide a more personalised approach, and to support your child more effectively during this online learning period, tutor time will run as follows:
Tutor Time structure (from 23.02.21*)
- 8:25am – 8:35am: First scheduled 1 – 1 meeting
- 8:35am – 8:45am: Second scheduled 1 – 1 meeting
- 8:45am – 8:50am: Registration of tutor class and sharing of important and relevant notices to our year group
*Please note:Â that these arrangements will take effect from Tuesday, 23rd of February. Tutor time on Monday, 22nd of February will be dedicated to the distribution of revised E-version timetables (in light of amendments to our daily schedule), therefore existing tutor time arrangements will continue on this day.
Ultimately we feel this will allow students a more flexible start to the day and help assist in preparing them for their first two online lessons.
Preparation for 1 – 1 meetings
Tutor teachers:
In preparation for these 1 – 1 meetings, tutor teachers will arrange with each tutee a date and time slot for their individual 1 – 1 meeting. Tutors will add these to student Google calendars as a reminder.
Students:
Students should come prepared to the 1 – 1 ready to discuss their SMART targets listed in their planners, and to discuss their wellbeing with the aid of wellbeing check-in forms.
Please note that if students are allowed to fully return to school, tutor times will return to their original format.
