UPDATE: Year 4 Dolphin Watch Trip

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are writing to inform you of the exciting news that the Year 4 students will be undertaking a school trip to see the Indo-Pacific humpback ‘pink’ dolphins of Lantau with HK Dolphin Watch. This experience will help the children to understand the plight of the pink dolphins, and to further their knowledge of native species to Hong Kong as part of their ‘Can We Save The World?’ unit.

This trip will take place for all Year 4 classes on Tuesday 30th January 2024 and will be within school hours. All students will be back at school in the afternoon for the usual pick-up time.

Cost: The cost of this exciting opportunity is HK$300. Please can the money be brought to the school office before Wednesday 13th December 2023.

What to wear: Full school uniform.

What to bring: We will not arrive back at school until after lunch; please therefore prepare a packed lunch for your child that can be stored in their backpack throughout the trip. They will also need a water bottle and a light morning snack.

Parent Volunteers

As with all school trips, we would love the support of parents and are looking for any parents willing to join us on the day – this will ensure the adult-to-student ratio is within the required recommendation. Please let your child’s class teacher know if you can offer your help for the day.
