Dear Parents,
We are writing to inform you of the exciting news that the Year 4 students will be undertaking a school trip to see the Indo-Pacific humpback ‘pink’ dolphins of Lantau with HK Dolphin Watch via boat. This experience will help the children understand the difficulties facing the habitat of the pink dolphins. It will also help to further their knowledge of native species to Hong Kong as part of their ‘Can We Save The World?’ unit.
Date: Tuesday 31st January
Time: Within school hours (normal drop off and pick up times)
Cost: HK$280 – please bring this to the school office before Friday 13th January
What to bring: Packed lunch that can be stored in backpack, water bottle and light morning snack
What to wear: School uniform
As with all school trips, we would love the support of parents and are looking for any parents willing to join us on the day – this will ensure the adult-to-student ratio is within the required recommendation. Please let your child’s class teacher know if you can offer your help for the day.
